Our piano programs are divided into three stages, each focusing on a particular age-appropriate level of music development, literacy, and creative exploration.
Preparatory
Kindergarten
Our Preparatory program is the perfect introduction to the piano, designed specifically for students in Kindergarten! These 45-minute small group classes foster young learners' musical development through play-based activities, both on and off the bench. Students learn basic rhythmic notation, pre-staff reading, and proper technique while engaging in movement, singing, imitation, and improvisation with their peers.

Core
Grades 1-12
The Core program is comprehensive training program for students grades 1-12 that focuses on building repertoire, technique, theory, musicianship, and experience through a carefully sequenced curriculum based on RCM standards. The program was designed to give structure and clarity, ensuring you and your child always know what they have accomplished and where they are headed.
Piano students placed in the Foundations level through Level 2 generally have the option to choose from two tracks: accelerated and traditional.
Our accelerated class is a unique format that combines individual training within a small group setting. Lessons are 55 minutes, and students generally complete the curriculum in 12-18 months, although some have finished in as little as 9 months. After this, students move on to private lessons for the more advanced levels of our curriculum. Our traditional track consists of weekly private lessons in 30, 45, or 60-minute increments.
